I have visited Leh, Ladakh, and was mesmerized by its beauty! My biggest show-off here is that I had planned my Leh trip entirely by myself, instead of relying on any tour company. So I had researched and contacted multiple hotels. And now, I have come up with a list of 9 great places to stay in Leh, Nubra Valley, and Pangong.

This is the hotel I actually stayed in. And if you’re looking for a stay in Leh that feels comfortable, well-managed, and takes care of your entire trip, then Hotel Auspicious is a smart and reliable pick.
Its location is something I loved because it is not located on the main street, but very close to it. So, it’s just 2 minutes away from the main market, yet it is undisturbed by the usual hustle and bustle of the market area.
The hotel offers multiple room options like comfort, king, double, and premium rooms, all equipped with heating and beautiful mountain views.
The food, too, was outstanding with multiple options for lunch and dinner. The chefs here also went the extra mile to try to make us our favourite food!
The small courtyard in the center had become my favourite place to relax in the evenings during my stay.
What makes this place special is its complete travel support. From airport pickup to permits, Nubra and Pangong stays, sightseeing, and drop-offs – they handled everything for us. They also offer ready-made packages, making planning effortless. We had chosen the 7-nights 8-days package, and honestly, the planning and the stays were flawless.
All in all, our stay was extremely comfortable, and the trip was well planned and hassle-free thanks to the staff of Hotel Auspicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to both solo travelers and families.
P.S. Many people worry about the power cuts in Leh Ladakh; however, this hotel has a generator so you will not be affected due to power cuts at all!
